On February 2, 2015, Chinese Consul General to San Francisco Luo Linquan paid a courtesy visit to Kim Wyman, Secretary of State of Washington, and exchanged views with her on China-Washington relations.

Consul General Luo Linquan introduced himself to Ms. Wyman. The Consul General recalled the progress made in China-Washington cooperation in a variety of fields including trade and cultural exchanges, and extended an invitation to her to visit China.

Ms. Wyman congratulated Consul General Luo for assuming office, and granted him Honorary Washington State Citizenship. She also expressed her willingness to work with Consul General Luo in the further promotion of China-Washington relations.

Also present at the meeting was Washington State representative Norma Smith.
