Notice on the Submission of Chinese Visa E-application Form
2021/01/04

To provide better visa application services for the public, starting from January 4, 2021, the Chinese Visa E-application Form will be used for all visa applications submitted to the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in the United States. Applicants (excluding those applying for Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR visas) can access and fill out the online electronic forms at http://cova.mfa.gov.cn.

The Visa Office of the Chinese Embassy remains closed in light of the pandemic and the visa service is suspended. Applicants are strongly recommended not to travel unless for essential and urgent purposes. In case of an urgent need of a Chinese visa, please send an email to visa.sf@gmail.com to specify your situation. If eligible, information on application procedures and required documents will be provided through email.
