On January 10, 2012, the Consulate General of P. R.C in San Francisco and the District Attorney's Office, City and County of San Francisco jointly held the lecture on "Crimes Overview and Legal Response" at the Consulate, in the hope that our community will become safer and more harmonious.

 Consul General Gao Zhansheng and San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón made opening remarks, followed by the lectures given by officials from San Francisco District Attorney's Office, which cover issues ranging from hate crimes, human trafficking to domestic violence and victim services.

Around 100 participants from local Chinese travel agencies, Chinese students organizations, business group, Chinese-American associations and the Consulate attended the event.
