Consul General Gao attended 2012 China-U.S. Economic and Technology Summit


2012 China-U.S. Economic and Technology Summit initiated by Northern California Chinese Enterprises Association(CEA)was held in San Jose City Hall on October 26th. Mr. Gao, Zhansheng, Consul General of the People's Republic of China addressed on the forum. He introduced the development of China-U.S. trade and economic relations, appraised the achievements made by CEA in recent years, encouraged the Chinese enterprises to fit in the local community and make more contributions to the development of China-U.S. economic relations. Gao emphasized that the China-U.S. bilateral trade as well as economic and technology cooperation are mutually beneficial, therefore the U.S. was expected to create better investment environment for the Chinese enterprises.

Mr. Mike Honda, U.S. Representative,Mr. Chuck Reed, Mayor of San Jose city,Madam Teresa Cox, Trade advisor to USDOC and Trade Representative,Mr. Paul Oliva, Deputy Director for International Affairs and Business Development of California Governor's Office,Mr. Jim Wunderman, President and CEO of Bay Area Council also addressed on the forum.

About 200 participants from government agencies, businesses, universities, economic organizations and law firms attended this forum, including California Representative Mr. Paul Fong.
