Rotarians Host Chinese Diplomats for the 6th Time

On May 19, 2018, at the invitation of Rotary District 5160, staffs and families members of Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco went on an "agricultural field trip" to Woodland district in Northern California, visiting a farm, a seed company, a ranch and a winery operated by Rotary club members.

Deputy Consul General Zha Liyou expressed appreciation for friends of Rotary District 5160 to organize agricultural tour for Chinese Consulate General for the 6th time. He said such kind of tour not only gave a vivid experience of advanced agriculture in California for the Chinese diplomats, but also stood as a symbol for the friendship between Chinese and American peoples.

Gary Vilhauer, Governor of Rotary 5160 District said it was a pleasure to host the staffs and family members from the Chinese Consulate General. Rotary 5160 District cherishes the cooperation and friendship with Chinese Consulate General and looks forward to hosting another field trip two years later,The major sites of the field trip this year include Muller & Sons Farm, TSL Seed Company, Yolo Land & Cattle Ranch, and Matchbook Winery.

Rotary 5160 District is an influential NGO in north and central California, and it holds field trip for the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco every two years.
