Chinese Consulate-General Hosted 2017 Infrastructure Cooperation Dinner

On April 19th 2017, Chinese Consul-General Luo Linquan hosted 2017 Infrastructure Cooperation Dinner at his residence. Attendees were representatives from California Governor’s Office, GO-Biz, CalSTA, Calfornia High Speed Rail Authority, SFCED, ChinaSF, SFO, City of Seattle, Northwest Seaport Alliance and other prestigious business associations. Deputy Consul-General Ren Faqiang played the role of moderator. Commercial Counselor Yang Yihang attended the event.

Consul-General Luo introduced the outcomes of President Xi’s visit to U.S. and the current China-U.S. Relations. He had an in-depth discussion with the guests on issues such as China-U.S. infrastructure cooperation history, U.S. Infrastructure market and China-U.S. infrastructure cooperation routes.

According to the attendees, the event was recognized as the pragmatic move at the local level to promote the implementation of the consensus between the two heads of states. The infrastructure cooperation between China and U.S. is expected to become a new feature in the bilateral cooperation, which is of great significance to further enhance China-U.S. economic and trade relations.
