Chinese Deputy Consul General Ren Faqiang Attends Panel Discussion on The Belt and Road Initiative at University of California Berkeley

On April 18, 2017, Chinese Deputy Consul General Ren Faqiang attended the "One Belt One Road: Remaking Eurasia?" Panel Discussion sponsored by Institute of East Asian Studies (IEAS) of University of California Berkeley, and introduced  solid outcomes and ongoing projects under The Belt and Road Initiative since 2013. Director of IEAS Kevin O' Brien, scholars of UC Berkeley Vinod Aggarwal, David Roland-Holst, Lowell Dittmer, Peter Lorentzen and Director of the Institute of Asian Research of University of British Columbia Yves Tiberghien took part in the Panel and gave their views on the Initiative. The Panel also answered questions raised by the audience. Over 60 teachers and students joined the event.
