Bilateral cooperation in all areas is expanding and deepening and has made new progress. Abhisit told Yang that Thailand is ready to make joint efforts with China in deepening cooperation and tapping potential in many areas such as agriculture, tourism and trade, with the vision to cope with the challenges of global financial crisis. The Thai Prime Minister said China has played an important role in enhancing confidence on Asia's economic growth, and praised China's efforts in taking economic stimulus measures. Thailand is ready to continue advancing ASEAN-China cooperation in all areas, he added.

Yang said China attaches great importance to friendship with Thailand and Thailand and China have set a good example of friendly and mutually beneficial relationship between Asian countries.
