On Mar. 5-6, 2009, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei attended a meeting of coordinators for London Summit of G20 in London, exchanging views with all other parties on the preparations of the London Summit. All the participants agreed to make joint efforts to push the London Summit towards positive and pragmatic outcome in coping with the financial crisis and promoting the world economic growth.

On the sidelines of the meeting, He also met respectively with G20 coordinator Michael Froman, also deputy assistant to the U.S. President and deputy National Security Adviser for international economic affairs, and the advisor to British Prime Minister and G20 coordinator Jon Cunliffe. He also attended a meeting of coordinators of China, Russia, India, Brazil, South Africa and Mexico.
