Chinese Consul General Luo Linquan Attends Chinese Flag Raising Ceremony at the San Francisco City Hall

On September 30, 2016, Chinese Consul General Mr. and Mrs. Luo Linquan attended the Chinese flag raising ceremony at the San Francisco City Hall. Mayor Ed Lee hosted the ceremony. Director of the Department of State's Office of Foreign Missions Amb. Gentry Smith, Assessor-Recorder of the City and County of San Francisco Carmen Chu, Mayor's Chief of Protocol Charlotte Shultz, representatives from bay area communities attended the event.

Consul General Luo Said San Francisco has a special position in China-US relations. The local cooperation between San Francisco and China is so encouraging that we should never suspect a brighter future of China-US relations.

Mayor Lee congratulated on the 67th National Day of China, and said that San Francisco was ready to deepen its relations with China in all fields.
