In his speech, Consul General Wang said that California and China are economically complementary and the two sides have great potential for cooperation in the fields of trade and investment. He said that China-US economic and trade cooperation was mutually beneficial, from which both the American people and enterprises had gained benefits, and the escalation of trade friction not only harmed the interests of China and the US, but also affected the global economy. He hoped that the business communities in the Bay Area would work together in bringing the China-US economic and trade collaboration back to the right track of healthy development.
