Consul General Luo Linquan Attends the Grand Parade of the Chinese New Year of the Dog

On February 24, 2018, Chinese Consul General to San Francisco Luo Linquan and his wife Mme. Qiao Li attended the annual Grand Parade of the Chinese New Year in San Francisco, to celebrate the coming of spring together with Mayor of San Francisco Mark Farrell, California State Senator Scott Wiener, Assemblymembers Phil Ting and David Chiu, President of Board of Supervisors of San Francisco London Breed and several other supervisors, as well as local residents.

Consul General Luo wished Californian and San Francisco people a very happy and prosperous Chinese New Year in his remarks at the venue. He also wished a greater development for the China-US relations in the coming year.

More than 130 groups from governmental agencies, commercial agencies and social organizations from San Francisco and other cities in the Bay Area attended this parade, and performed dragon and lion dances, martial arts, dances and musical instruments in the marching, which attracted nearly one million people to the scene.
