Consul General Luo Linquan Attends the Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration Held by the City of San Francisco

On February 9, 2017, Chinese Consul General to San Francisco Luo Linquan and his wife Mme. Qiao Li attended the Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration held by the City Government of San Francisco at the City Hall, to celebrate the Year of the Rooster together with Mayor of San Francisco Edwin Lee and his wife Mme.Anita Lee, local dignitaries and residents.

Mayor Lee wished the people of San Francisco a happy Chinese Lunar New Year in his opening remarks, and promised that the City Government will work together with the City Council to better serve local residents and maintain the diversity of San Francisco. Consul General Luo received the interview of the media at the venue. He wished the City Government and residents of San Francisco a happy Chinese Lunar New Year, and wished a greater development of the China-US relationship in the year to come.

Local artists performed dragon and lion dances. Primary school students performed lovely dances in traditional Chinese costumes. The grand City Hall was filled with an atmosphere of warmness and brisk spring.
