Chinese Consul General Luo Linquan Attends the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Oceanwide Center

On December 8, 2016, Chinese Consul General to San Francisco Luo Linquan attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Oceanwide Center in San Francisco, which is invested by Oceanwide Holdings Group, one of China's largest private conglomerates. Ed Lee, Mayor of San Francisco, Jane Kim, Supervisor of San Francisco and Lu Zhiqiang, Chairman of Oceanwide Holdings were present.

Consul General Luo delivered opening remarks

Consul General Luo expressed congratulations to Oceanwide Holdings and the City of San Francisco. He said, in recent years, the China-U.S. trade and investment relations have become much closer. Fast increased two-way trade and investment figures demonstrate that businessmen are confident with the other country's market. Among all the industries, U.S. real estate market, especially the California real estate market is one of the hottest fields by Chinese investors. Lots of job opportunies are also created because of their investments. When Oceanwide Center is completed, it will be the second tallest building in San Francisco and become a good model to benefit local community, to show the city's prosperity and the long relationship with China.

Mayor Lee said that Oceanwide Center will provide more public spaces, more residences and contribute a lot on affordable housing and employment.
