Consul General Wang Donghua's first visit to California State Capital
On August 20th, Chinese new Consul General Wang Donghua visited the city of Sacramento for the first time. Consul General Wang met with Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg, the Speaker of the California State Assembly Anthony Rendon and other 20 members of California Legislators including Rep. Phil Ting, Kansen Chu, David Chiu, Chris R. Holden, Tony Thurmond, Shirley N.Weber and etc,. Consul General Wang also met with the president of CalChamber Allan Zaremberg, the vice president of CalChamber Susanne T. Stirling, visited APAPA (Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association) headquarters, and attended a welcome meeting hosted by more than 20 ethnic communities in the Greater Sacramento area. Consul General Wang, local US government leaders and friends spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation between California and China in the fields of business, trade, tourism, science and culture. They would like to work together to deepen a win-win bilateral collaboration.
